I primarily work with women 45+ who aren’t chasing PRs - they’re chasing strength that lasts. They’re not interested in quick fixes. They want to feel strong, move freely, and handle everyday things—like carrying groceries or playing with grandkids—without pain holding them back.
Through my Move with Strength System, I offer personalized, joint-friendly strength and mobility training that respects your capabilities, and your goals.
Whether you’re a beginner or getting back into training, my programs are designed to support your progress.

My fitness journey started back in 2006.
At the time, I was overweight and relying on cardio to lose weight—but progress felt impossible.
I was also dealing with L4/L5 disc degeneration, and most days, even basic movement was a struggle.

Things began to shift with the support of a chiropractor and the discovery of resistance training.
That combination changed everything: I started building core strength, my pain began to ease, and for the first time, I had the energy and motivation to stay consistent—because I was finally seeing results and feeling better in my body.

In 2012, I was in the best shape I’d ever been. I took a full-time job as a courier. I’ll be honest—I was nervous about how my back would handle it. But it was just fine!
At first, there were days I wasn’t sure I’d make it at this job. It was very challenging, physically and mentally. I was the only woman on the crew, so I was intimidated by the guys. But not only did I keep up—I started to thrive in that role. I loved the challenge, and I loved proving I could do the job just as well as the guys.
I ended up staying for 12 years, working in three different cities, and also became a workplace trainer.
The tough part? I’ve never handled heat well. And over the years, my sensitivity to heat kept getting worse. Eventually, it got to the point where I could barely work—my episodes of heat stroke became very frequent and so severe that it just wasn’t safe for me to be out on the road anymore.
I had already become certified as a trainer in 2017. I started training clients on the side in 2022.
In 2023, my doctor put me on medical leave for the summer. This is when I decided it was time to make a change. I quit my job that year to start training full time.

I am married to a loving husband who is very supportive of my business which I run out of our basement.
I have a beautiful 26 year old daughter who is currently taking film production at Vancouver Film School.
I have 2 cats: Cookie and Salem. Salem likes to make appearances in my videos, but Cookie is too camera shy. She gets that from me.

My Passion
For me, being healthy is more than just weightlifting. It is about moving better, preventing or reducing pain and injuries, eating healthy, and getting enough sleep.
I want to help you accomplish all of this. It will not be easy, especially at first. I will provide you with programming that is appropriate for you and guide you through the process of making lifestyle changes that you can maintain for the rest of your life! It might take awhile and some trial and error to see results, but if you stick with it, in time, you won't regret it. It will take commitment, consistency, and determination to succeed and there will be obstacles to face, but in the long run, you will become a new you!
